When the word elegant comes to my mind I can’t help but think of a woman, stylishly dressed in black, with beautiful high heels that make the whole outfit more feminine.
As I write this, I am thinking about Victoria Beckham. She is the first that comes to my mind when I think of this word. There are these people who can wear whatever they want to and yet they always look impeccable. To me, she is definitely one of them. This is, of course, only the first thought that I had because elegance can be represented by as many characteristics as one can imagine.
Therefore, I believe that elegance has little to do with the clothes that we wear and more with a compound of features that make one person special, appealing to the senses. Elegance is manners, body language, appearance but, most importantly, confidence.
Even the most elegant Chanel two pieces cannot make a person shine, if confidence is nowhere to be found.
Elegance is inside all of us and it has many representations. There is no right or wrong. It just begins inside each one of us.
